~ * ~ QUINCY QUILT 2005 ~ * ~

The Quincy Quilt was conceived and produced by Pat Fay, and sponsored by Discover Quincy as a part of the First Annual Quincy Holiday Stroll in December 2005.

The project consisted of two parts: a public portion where Holiday Stroll participants could construct, piece, or decorate/sign a ready-made signature block, and a challenge to local talented quilters to make a 12 inch block depicting their favorite Quincy Landmark.

The sixteen Quincy blocks were put together first and then the blocks signed by Holiday Stroll participants were arranged around them.

We're both pleased and proud of the work done by all participants and want to THANK and congratulate them all for a beautiful, striking quilt!
